Jill was born and raised in Ypsilanti. She has been an Ann Arbor resident for the past twenty years. She and her husband Ron have been married for seventeen years and have two sons; Erich attends Slauson Middle School and Ryan who attends Lawton Elementary.

She's been employed with Korican since 2004 and retains her position of Operations Coordinator with the Washtenaw County Road Commission, employed there for 26 years. Jill is active at Lawton Elementary as a room parent and giving assistance with fundraisers.
